Mountain Picking is a collaborative project with people living in Seoul, South Korea to discover mountains that uniquely and dominantly surround the city from the window of their living spaces.

Wirely delivered photos were printed in one-to-one scale and each piece was printed in A4 size paper. In the close-up prints, we find pieces from fingers that seek for the leftover piece of mountain to textures of the city architecture over the dusty window frames.

Fingers in the book often fail to point sharply at the mountain. The book requires the reader’s imaginations over the buildings and walls that block our view of the mountain.
